The champion carcase was a 350kg, milk tooth Romagnola cross steer, with an eye muscle area of 106 sq cms and a fat score of 10mm.
After their success on the hoof in the Trade Cattle section at the recent Beef Australia with their Romagnola cross steers, it is becoming apparent that Romagnola cross cattle are fast becoming highly competitive and well regarded against the more popular breeds in the trade cattle competitions.
